Tim Tebow is a big old douche. Plain and simple. He was drafted to increase jersey sales. He sucks ass as an NFL qb. Get the fuck over it people.

Tebow has out played Brady Quinn in the pre-season and should be the #2 guy. He has thrown the ball pretty well thus far.

Hoge keeps yapping about how inaccurate Tebow was in college. :D

http://www.theledger.com/article/20100106/NEWS/1065070

Tim Tebow's Sugar Bowl performance propelled him into college football's history books before he hung up his Gators jersey for the last time.
That increased his career pass efficiency rating to 170.79, which ranks first all-time in the NCAA record book.Boise State's Ryan Dinwiddie held the previous top mark of 168.9 rating (minimum of 325 completions) from 2000-03.
Tebow's 2009 season pass efficiency rating of 164.17 also was the best in the nation. Boise State's Kellen Moore finished second with a 161.7 rating after the Broncos' Fiesta Bowl appearance.
Before the Sugar Bowl, Tebow's 168.5 career pass efficiency rating already was first in SEC history. Florida's Danny Wuerffel's career rating of 163.6 ranks second.

SOS still doesn't understand that Tebow's passes at UF were 5 yard bubble screens and quick slants, where if you completed less than 65%, you are a shitty football player.

Yes most of his passes were like that but he also had many nice deep ball throws. People on both sides of this argument(if he can play or not) are annoying as hell. I, like many others are glad that hes gonna get his chance now to either prove he can play or not. But unlike most people(on here especially) ill wait more than 2 starts too either say hell be good or a bust.

for a 3 & 1/2 game career. I love how you guys are desperately holding on to that ignoring QB Rating, which is more complete than %.
Hoge is still wrong. Stats of his college career any way you spin them, he was accurate.

67.1% career at UF. 88 TDs, 16 interceptions in 995 career pass attempts, 9286yds.
2947yds rushing, 57 TDs

Only about half of NFL QBs are over 60%. I'll take 50 something with a handful of rushing TDs.

So his 3 1/2 game career is perfectly fine to base his QBR off of, but totally irrelevant when it comes to his passing %? Interesting

I never said it like that at all spinmiester. I said rating is a better gauge for QBs than comp %. That goes for 3 games or 10 years. You're the ones calling out his pro career a bust in 3 games. I have enough sense to know many great QBs have a learning curve for a year or two. I quoted his college passing efficiency records and % to prove Hoge wrong again, and all the rest of you fail trolls.

Tebow has been awful, he can't throw from the pocket, missing wide open receivers by 10 yards.
