Is Tebow holding back for another furious 4th quarter come back?

38-3 Lions over Broncos.

Tebow 7/21 for 81 yards @ the end of the 3rd quarter.

While the come back last week was impressive. It was over a team spiraling out of control (lolphins).

Uh oh, are we approaching un-come-backable territory now after that pick 6?

speedofsand needs to come on here and defend tebow. The dude sucks ass, plain and simple. He can kneel and pray all he wants, he still won't be a good qb

So after todays performance who still thinks Tebow gives Denver a better chance to win than Orton?

I mean that was flat out terrible. Shame on Hoge for questioning Tebow's accuracy.

18/39 172 yards, 1 td, 1 int. 56.8 rating.

He has no wide receivers and from what I saw(didn't watch much, just a little) it looked like Detroit was living in the backfield, so I'd give him a pass on today. He's never going to be a 65% passer but I do think he could be good enough to be a starter. He's certainly not wowed in the stat department so far though.

Wow tebow in all honesty is Bauserman with some speed. Just airmails passes all game, and he had awhile to throw but couldn't read a D for shit. His throwing motion was what caused the fumbles and he didn't see wide-open guys all game. Sorry this guy just sucks and btw was 8-25 against the first string

Tebow is a nice guy but isn't an NFL QB.

I didn't get a chance to see this beat-down as much as I would have like to...did he kneel and pray at the end?

Tebow will be out of the league once his rookie contract is up. I don't care if Denver wins out and wins the super bowl, Tebow is toast.

LOL
“Can you believe ’15’?” one Detroit Lions defender asked after his team’s 45-10 immolation of Tebow and the Denver Broncos. “Come on – that’s embarrassing. I mean, it’s a joke. We knew all week that if we brought any kind of defensive pressure, he couldn’t do anything. In the second half it got boring out there. We were like, ‘Come on – that’s your quarterback? Seriously?’”

It would be one thing if this particular defender could be written off as an outlier, but during the time I spent in the Lions’ locker room after the game – and, later, on the phone with various coaches, front-office executives and players around the league – similarly harsh assessments were uttered about the second-year quarterback making his second start of the 2011 season.

Words like atrocious, terrible, completely exposed and not even close to ready kept coming up in these conversations; a couple of Lions even used the term oh my god. They did not appear to be mocking Tebow’s devout Christian beliefs – however, at least two Detroit players (middle linebackerStephen Tulloch(notes) and tight end Tony Scheffler(notes)) made a point of “Tebowing” during the game, imitating the prayerful pose the quarterback struck following the previous Sunday’s stunning overtime victory over theMiami Dolphins.

Especially Gabbert about him being a pussy and not wanting to get hit.

Comments by the Lion Defenders are hilarious. Game definitely showed just how truly wide the margin of disparity is btwn the Haves (Lions etc...) and Have Nots (Dolphins etc...). The joke is over Broncos...Brady would give you better results than a Pulling Guard at QB.

The difference is that the these two will still be in the league in three years.

For real. I don't think John Elway or John Fox caused Tebow to fumble 3 times.

His only argument he keeps coming up with is that in 4 strait fourth quarters he put up 14 points in them. News flash Skip, the only reason he was able to do that was because those teams were in prevent defenses because they were up by two or more scores. What about the first 3 quarters when they played their actualy gameplan defense? He couldn't do shit because he can't play QB. Skip keeps saying that they need to play no huddle and hurry up because he can't play from the I formation under center lmao. SO let me get this straight, he wants them to play no huddle the entire game when their offensive line can't block as it is? Dude is an idiot and is consistently wrong.
