Reds win 11-3.

This is a series the reds have to win if they have any inkling of making a run. Lose a series like this and we should have no thoughts of this team playing past game 162

Aroldis Chapman pitched the ninth. He pushed his hitless streak to 9 2/3 innings. In that span, he’s walked one and struck out 15.
He good

If Chapman becomes a starter next season he will throw at least one no-hitter. This is a fact.

Cueto
Chapman
Leake
Bailey
Arroyo

Not sure where Wood/Volquez fit in next year but this rotation looks damn good.

With 5 walks. But still a no no and another reason for a new tat!

Playing but can't watch tonight. Heading to Riverbend for Journey.

Best the Reds can do over these 3 days is stay even with the Brewers, not what they needed.

Not what they needed, but in the end I'm just hoping they can be within 3 of the Brewers (in 2nd place) by the beginning of September. That is still pretty doable.

Possile I suppose but what have they done the last 3 months to make you think they will play 4 games better than the Brewers the rest of the month. Their team is healthy and loaded right now. Reds can't even get to .500, they need to just pull the plug.

Well, I should say that I don't think it's going to happen. But it isn't an impossible task.

Votto just broke the record for distance being thrown out by while going for a double. 18 feet 7 inches.

Ridiculous....see the mistake 1/2 there and turn the heck around....good God.

Yes that is an easy one to see in front of you. It is not a bad play to be nipped at 2nd trying to get into scoring position with two out, but you ought to be able to judge when he picks up the ball that he has a great shot at you. Stop and turn back!

Desperate measures for Dusty playing the infield in in the first with no out! Where was that desperate mindset Monday night?

That 2 runs is probably enough for the Astros with a pitcher on the mound that the Reds haven't seen!
