Saw Gatsby last night finally. It was better than anticipated, but I thought it looked horrible. Id give it a 6.

Leo was great and Toby McGuire was pretty good as Carraway (but I hate him in general).

Very excited for this. Love Taylor Kitsch, and I am really glad he is going to be in an actual good movie instead of Battleship and whatever that Disney movie was.

Should be pretty sweet. The story is amazing and if you get a chance check out the book. Think release for the movie is January. He had been trying to get this done for quite a long time. I talked to Luttrell a couple of years ago and he mentioned how a number of production companies had wanted to do it, but were not going to allow him much more input on the final product and were going to "Hollywood" it up so he waited until he got his wish. Imagine that the success of Act of Value and 0 dark thirty helped get the whole thing off the ground

Saw an advanced screening for We're the Millers last night. HILARIOUS movie. Might be the funniest movie I've seen since the remake of 21 Jump Street (2012) - idk... maybe someone can help me think of a funnier movie since then. Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Aniston were PERFECT (COMMENT: Sudeikis is EVERYWHERE these days... good lord). Aniston's strip tease was awesome (considering how old she is, she can still 'kick it' with the best of 'em). Definitely a 'must see' (idk if you have to rush to the theaters to see it, but definitely make sure you catch it at some point).

Afterwards, I caught 2 Guns. Thought this was a very entertaining movie. It jumped around a bit too much for my liking, but even still... I still thought it was a good movie. Say what you will about Mark Wahlberg, but he stole the show. His acting was outstanding (and, of course, so was Denzel Washington's). Very entertaining movie.

First movie I've seen in months at a theatre was Despicable Me 2. Went Sunday night. I laughed.

I see wehre bruce willis isn't in expendables 3. He was offered 3 million for his 4 days of filming, but wanted 4 million. Harrison ford is replacing him.

If it is true I hope Harrison Ford puts in a better performance than Cowboys and Aliens. Yeeeesh. That is a guilty pleasure and even I admit his performance wasn't great.

Speaking of which, did anyone here actually watch The Lone Ranger?

Maybe he just thought it was going to be a shitty movie (it is) and made a ridiculous request rather than say as much.

Saw "The Way Way Back". Wasn't in wide release, an art house type film but very good and would recommend it.

I'm sure Scarlet Buckeye saw a prescreen of it and would recommend.

But yeah, other than that, crickets.

I saw We Are the Millers over the weekend. It was a pretty good raunchy comedy. The Jennifer Aniston stripper scenes were worth the price of admission alone.
