I kinda agree. I'm sure Pacific Rim is terrible, but it kinda has me excited. I guess kinda like Real Steel. Never ended up catching it, but something about Real Steel kept compelling me to want to see it.friendfromlowry;1469090 wrote:I know it looks corny, but I've been pretty excited for Pacific Rim

That's the 6 year old version of you juts thinking, "sweet, giant robots and monsters."Scarlet_Buckeye;1469287 wrote:I kinda agree. I'm sure Pacific Rim is terrible, but it kinda has me excited. Halle Berry knew Catwoman would be terrible, but had to make it bc of studio contract. Could be similar issue.Manhattan Buckeye;1469285 wrote:^^^
I find it very difficult to believe that talented people like Johnny Depp and Gore Verbinksy didn't know that the Lone Ranger was a total turd. I'm not sure they are laughing about it though. Their reputation counts more than their income - Armie Hammer on the other hand. He might have been placed in the same category of Shia LeBeouf and Sam Worthington.
very true..my bad. Stringer and Charlize Theron made Prometheus for me.TedSheckler;1469289 wrote:Stringer Bell gets no love?

I liked that they did connect it to aliens, but I feel like it could have been done more elegantly.wes_mantooth;1469464 wrote:I didn't care for the ending.... felt like it was just thrown in to connect it to aliens

I saw a couple previews for Gravity as well, but I don't know what to think about it. It looks intense, but I can't imagine sitting an entire movie thru someone "drifting thru space."friendfromlowry;1469823 wrote:I saw a preview for Gravity the other week, and I think it looks pretty interesting.

Everytime I watch a space movie I get extreme anxiety about that happening. I have nightmares about it afterwords. A movie made specifically about it...FUCK THAT.SportsAndLady;1469875 wrote:Fuck that movie. That's my worst fear.
