Let's say Fukodome comes in and does well, does that make Grady expendable going into next season? That is if we re-sign Fukodome.

Dude has been in A ball now for 3 years and this year he finally showed the power swing. He's got 12 homers, but over 100 K's in a little over 300 abs. Not gonna move up with that crap.

Grady's team option won't be picked up next year. The only way he is back is of agrees to a cheap contract.

Just curious, what is his batting avg with guys in scoring position? That would be a more telling stat. Is the Tribe trying to get anyone else? I don't like the Fukudome trade. Granted we didn't give them much, but we didn't get much in return. When we get Choo and Sizemore back our outfield will be stacked again. Are we even looking into getting anyone else? I'd like to see a blockbuster trade by the Tribe. Has it happened in the last 2 decades? Other than giving away all of our great players in blockbuster deals, of course.

Brantley is on the rise, and probably our best outfielder. Choo is a great right fielder and solid hitter (then again right fielders typically aren't all-stars). And Sizemore, when healthy is just as good if not better than Brantley. Teams don't have completely stacked outfields, but I'd say when our team is healthy we have a damn good one. I don't know how you can disagree with that.

There certainly are worse trios. I am willing to give Choo the benefit of the doubt, but he is having an awful year so far. In Brantley and Sizemore you have career .269 and .270 hitters. Sizemore has been in a slump for several years and is always hurt. Brantley may develop someday, but at he average, at best, right now.
