They just signed Holmes to a huge contract but there has been speculation that his cap for this year is like 2.75 million dollars, so this could work. I'm not a Jets fan but I have to admit the prospect of Darrelle Revis and Nnamdi Asomugha on the same team is pretty intriguing.

Yeah, and he is a hell of a step up from Cromartie...and has about 14 less kids, so they wouldn't have to give out as much free stuff to family members.

I don't know a lot about their cap space, but I think the huge Holmes contract was their way of saying bye to Edwards. But if they do pick up Asomugha it seems like they could probably get Plaxico cheap, and if Michael Vick is any indication of how prison effects football skills then they'll be fine.

Id the jets get Asomugha two things will happen: im drafting their defense early again in FF and I wont play the jets in madden, ever.
