Stubbs
Renteria
Votto
Phillips
Bruce
Cairo
Gomes
Hernandez

lol at Hernandez being 8th in that lineup

Janish continues the streak of getting 3 hits and not starting the next game....Dusty is the best.

Jocketty said the Rockies asked about Meso and Chapman in the Jimenez talk. Don't blame them, because they don't have to move him, and their not going to if that's the price they're asking.

Dusty should sit Votto again tonight, can't afford to do it I guess. I think BP, Cairo, Gomes, and Ramon all get on base multiple times.

Scratch Gomes. He's been traded to the Nationals...Yonder Alonso has been called up from Louisville.

Sad to see Gomes go but it had to be done. Best of luck to Jonny and excited to see Alonso.

Reds picked up two players who look to have potential, stat wise at least.

Manno, 22, went 1-3 with a 1.04 ERA and 12 saves in 13 opportunities at Class A Hagerstown (43.1ip, 20h, 15bb, 69k, 1hr, .135 opponents’ BA). He was selected by the Nationals out of Duke University in the 26th round of last year’s June first-year player draft.

Rhinehart, 26, has spent the 2011 season at Class AA Harrisburg, where in 89 appearances he hit .283 with 21 HR and 59 RBI in 89 games. He was selected by Washington in the 11th round of the June 2007 first-year player draft and was a minor league All-Star that season and again in 2008.

26 year old in double A?

Manno looks on paper as the better prospect

This.

I liked him when he played with the Rays, but liked him even more after watching this.

Bruce doesn't slide on his butt and it's now 2-0.

I'm tired of hearing how Bruce is without much argument the best RF in the National League.

Me too. Hes been awful in the field. Can't hit cutoffs, drops balls, let's balls get by him, misplays grounders....

He is very good at getting jumps and throwing...but there is so much more to the OF.

Stubbs did a nice job of making an easy out on the first pitch he saw.

At least Renteria and Phillips saw about 5 pitches and have an idea what to expect.

Maybe it's just me but catcher's interference is the biggest joke of a call I have ever seen.

That's three of them in Reds games since last Monday! Doesn't look like this one will stick though.

Kudos to the umpiring crew for meeting and admitting wrong to get it right.
