I haven't read a good book in a couple weeks. I really want a Kindle for Christmas but sadly I know I won't get one.

"Into Thin Air" by John Kraukauer a thrilling account of the 1996 Mt. Everest tragedy. Kraukauer was one that made it to the top and back, was actually there writing a story for a magazine about the rigors of Everest.
A very good read.
