I think that's more a factor of the pitchers are horrible at holding runners close. Part of their philosophy is to concentrate on the batters. Hanson, Beachy, and Jurrjens are all really slow to the plate.

That's right but with the lefty the throw being off the base would have left enough time for the covering infielder to get off the base, catch the bad throw, and get back to make the tag.

Damn bar closed an hour early so its gamecast from here on out...which with coco coming in probably means another 1 inning. :(
