Remember that time when the Reds scored 3 runs in a game. Do you remember that? That was awesome.

If the Reds lose and look absolutely terrible again, Season=Over. Stubbs is terrible (not clutch at all), Bruce is bad more times than good, Phillips is in a big slump (besides the GW HR), Votto neeeds to step up, LF is still not good, and 3B needs better production. And the whole team is just terrible with RISP! They need a big wake up call or as soon as they know it the Cubs are coming up on them...

Don't drill me too much....but see if Tampa would take back their hero Gomes and see how much they would chip in to give up Johnny Damon....I know he isn't much of an offensive upgrade, the guy is a winner that give very good at bats and could bat pretty much anywhere in the lineup....giving some leadership and intelligent fire to this flat ass team. Just a thought. Maybe throw the Yankees a good pitcher for Brett Gardner....throw in Lewis as well.

I wasn't drilling you just stating the obvious right now and just sick of the way they have been playing...I don't think they have had a winning streak longer than 2 or 3 games, sadly. But something has to be done very soon. A Brett Gardner type isnt that bad bc he could be a leadoff guy but not sure if the Yanks would give him right up and it depends who they would want for him...saw rumors that said CoCo Crisp and Chone Figgins are guys they may be looking at...I'd take CoCo over Figgins but Im not sure how much of an upgrade he would be over Heisey or Lewis...he would fill in the leadoff role too.

Before the season I easily would've said the Reds have a better group of hitters than the Pirates have pitchers.

I am surprised at the success the Pirates have had, but I'll take it.

Reds are due for a 7+ run game. Then go back to being garbage again.

I should be done working by 1 but might try to find more to do just to avoid watching this debacle.

Rolen back today, BP sitting. Wonder if it will be Cairo or Cozart at 2B.

Fortunately, my cable was out last night, so I missed that debacle. Looks like it was more of the same though.

Today, Reds win 9-2, we get excited that maybe the offense has found it, then we promptly lose the first two games against the Braves.

Wow, interesting.

@Buster_ESPN
Buster Olney
Among the pitchers that the Reds are targeting: TB's James Shields. This could be why TB scouts evaluating CIN minor leaguers this week

Par for the course. Reds score 2 or less runs so many times, then blow up for a game or two to skew the avg per game, then let us down again.

The reds are like a tomboy who looks smokin when she is all done up in nice clothes and makeup, but looks just plain homely 90% of the time when she is in just plain clothes. She dresses up just enough times to give us a boner and tease us, then gives us blue-balls and a letdown.

35 innings.

Since BP hit his walkoff the reds have gone 35 innings without putting up a crooked number on the board, including 18 straight goose eggs.

I know that the Pirates are a juggernaut but come one....18 straight?

Had to look for myself. Ridiculous that they can't put together a multi-run inning over a 4 game span. I shared this stat on the twitters.

Yeah...they will put up 2-3 innings with multiple runs, just enough for the front office to think this club is good enough and no changes need to be made

My extensive research of approximantly 1,027 people shows me that 78% of the time they say they are 94% sure in the stats they give were 100% made up.
