Last year I went to seattle's home opener while we were stranded there. It was awesome. They play in the Seahawks stadium so it wasn't full but it was LOUD. I can't imagine how loud a football game could be there. I wore a crew sweatshirt and scarf I had and they were super nice to us. USAF paid for our tickets while we were there waiting to see if they were still sending us to Japan or not(tsunami).

Crew have a good rivalry with the Sounders too. Portland/Seattle would be the first 2 choices if I could go somewhere in the USA and watch an MLS game.

Yeah, we played the 88 ohio fc team a couple times in state cup during hte time I was there. I don't think we lost to them. But if i am not mistaken, i'm pretty sure ohio fc was in the buckeye league?

Liverpool-Everton on ESPN2. Everton have a chance to finish above Liverpool in the standings, I'm sure they'd love that.

You must have been a year older. Our team a year older was brutal. We were definitely an MRL team.

Well, Real Madrid took care of business against CSKA Moscow to advance...no surprise there.

Chelsea and Napoli have entered into extratime to see who advances there. 3-1 in the first leg, 3-1 this leg -- with the home team winning both times. Interesting game there!

Chelsea wins. Lampard, Terry, Cole, and Drogba proved why AVB was an idiot for wanting to get rid of the older guys. They are the heart of the team. New manager seems to understand this.

Yes, I would most certainly like that, but sadly, Moyes decided the FA Cup game on the weekend had more importance. It took him an hour to realize his mistake, but by that time, it was too late.

The worst part about it was that my roommate is a big Liverpool fan, and I got jibbed about it hardcore.

I guess Freddy had a nice goal for the U-23s in Olympic qualifying. Good enough to get him trending on twitter.

It was nice. 6-0 win to start the Olympic qualifying. Nice.

Anyone going to the Crew home opener tomorrow at 4pm? There will be free scarves for the first 10,000 fans. I'll be there...got a all-you-can-eat buffet ticket and I will be getting a free scarf!

I am pretty sure I will be up there. My friends started "Murderers Row" and always have a tailgate with kegs/grilling out. I just need to figure out if I am going up tonight or tomorrow.

I would've met up. I spent 2-3 days away from my laptop as well. Great win for the Crew. Fortunate happenings...but we'll take it!
