what might you think it is? 7 years?

You are permitted to guesstimate your liability you know. ;)

I'm not positive on SOL, but I'd be surprised it if were 15 years. As far as guesstimating liability, I think it's unlikely that I'd actually owe anything based on the amount I was paid.

ETB, I try to be honest and follow the rules to the extent I can. Plus, after watching a number of hearings, it occurs to me that if I ever want to be appointed to a worthwhile office, I better make sure my taxes are in order.

Eh, back then, $50 a week was a lot for me to make at that age. I loved it.

And I didn't mind the work. I had a lot of energy, and I had a great deal of respect for the people with whom I was working, even at that age.

I won't run for office, though interestingly enough, I've been approached by both parties to see if I'd have an interest in running for local elections here on their ticket (which unfortunately means I'm probably too moderate to be elected). And 10 mins ago, was just offered another position with the state (2nd one--first was with the gov's staff, this was with a state agency). It's likely that I'll end up in gov't at some point sometime in the future, but I'm in no rush. But when it happens, I'll make sure my taxes are in order.
