I agree with all these ideas for moving parts of Ohio into other states. Every time I look at the political forum here, it makes me think this state needs a HUGE population reduction to give it as much clout nationally as Utah or Maine.

Yeah I know lately I've been watching the history channel about states and how they were formed. They did a small thing on the Battle for Toledo it was pretty cool and Ohio did lose at first before the government stepped in and gave it to Ohio. This is also how MI got the UP :P.

No. It will actually be worse, as the new Ohio will be Franklin and surrounding counties, so there won't even be any refuge for fans of UC and the MAC schools. Sorry.

Actually, doesn't the site owner live in what would then be Kentucky? So, you Ohioans can go find some other minor league site. John Calipari is now God here.

Yeah the ones I have watched have been pretty interesting. They are good for some random bits of information also makes me want to go visit certain places.

wva has a lower cost of living, i'm good with marietta bailing.i assume you all know that buy giving up cleveland, marietta, stuebenville, portsmouth, chesapeake, cincinnatti, etc. you'd be losing almost all of the major port cities in Ohio. taxes on all goods would go up.
