You're free to use vulgar speech in person but OC also has the freedom to censor it...just like I would have the right to ask you to leave my home if I so choose. Don't like the rules, tactfully state your case and leave the site. If one can't state their opinion without vulgarity, there are other sites that may accommodate that style.

Well, only a few words are censored completely (mostly slurs). Everyone has the option to turn the censor on/off for the rest of the profanities.

Was his original post even about OC? I didn't think it was.
