What he gets credit for is being a guy that wanted to play for the Browns as a kid, grew up and did, while doing so he won a lot of games.

It isn't that he was necessarily a "great quarterback" as much as he was a fan of the Browns and a player.

The fans still love him for that and because they do the media feeds it.

And I have no problem with that. He wanted to play in Cleveland during a time when no one else did. Times really havent changed much, no one wants to now either.

While this is great, I've had numerous Browns' fans actually bring the argument about how great of a player he was. Honestly, he was a slightly above average quarterback who was borderline top 10 in the NFL at the height of his career. In the minds of Browns' fans, it's a shame he's not a hall-of-famer.

Saw where Bernie is dating Tami Longaberger the heiress to the Longaberger Baskets fortune. And she's trying to unload her $15M mansion outside Newark, OH. Bernie's OCD would be killer trying to remember whether he closed all the windows in a $15M mansion.
