Anyone just see the us get jobbed by the ref twice to give Brazil their only gone so far. A call like that should call for the ref to lose their ability to officate games ever again. FIFA will do nothing because the world hates to see the US do good in their sport.

The red card was terriable to b/c the minute Marta put the ball in the air over the two defenders heads she no longer has possession and therefore it can not be a goal scoring oppertunity by rule. Also for the non soccer fans watching this Hope Solo is allowed to move side to side on the goal line just not go forward on the PK.

Who watches soccer you gheys. Just had to say that before it got said. Yes, I am watching and it was the absolute worst call I have ever seen in a soccer game. The red itself was bullshit, it shouldn't have even been a foul, let alone a red. THEN, when Hope Solo makes the save of her tournament they say she came off her line, which she clearly didn't, especially with the 2-3 steps off the men usually take. If Brazil scores another, I hope Hope Solo goes out and spikes the ref directly in the face.

Ridiculous. It will take a miracle for the US to take this to PKs. Love that the crowd is booing Marta like crazy though.

I think most casual fans realize the total horse shit that was that call. Unbelievable.
