So my brother and his kids have decided to go to the Akron Zoo tomorrow and I was curious to know how good it is? I've never been there and I was checking out the website and I clicked on animals and they don't have pics of the usual zoo animals. Any help would be appreciated.

I was going to tell my brother it was a lousy zoo today but he was being a dick so I am going to let him waste his gas and money for admission and find out for himself.

Never been to Akron's zoo but Columbus and Cleveland are tops in Ohio, imo. Toldeo isn't bad either.

I've been to Akron's, and I didn't mind it at all. It was fun for a little trip. Was visiting my stepdaughter in town, and we went. No, they don't have a bunch of big animals there, but they do have tigers, lions, komodo dragons, bats, penguins, and lemurs, which was enough to get my attention. Not to mention, it seemed pretty clean. They also have a large flower garden, and I know damn well women will love it, cuz it is pretty nice, even for a guy to say so. I was satisfied with my visit. Just don't go in with large expectations.

So my brother just texted me saying that they were on the way home already. They got there at like 10 or so. I guess the 9 year old looked at them and said "mommy it wasn't a very fun day." That is pretty sad. Ha what a crock of a zoo.
