Am i unable to die at this event?

Would be cool to experience a number of military-related events, but not if i'm going to get a cannonball to the face while i'm watching.

This is just to 'see' the event, not to partake in it. Sort of like the ghost of christmas past.

Sounds like your mind is made up. Why, then, would you need to see it? ;)

I personally would like to witness the fall of the Jewish Temple in 586 BCE.

Kind of disheartening that so many list military battles.

I don't want to see any war or battle as that is just me. Probable one of Jon Dillinger's famous jobs. Those intrigue me.

6 August 1945. I would like to ride with Uncle Paul Tibbets as he pilots the Enola Gay over beautiful downtown Hiroshima. Alright - not really - but just sayin'

Unfortunately much of the course of human events has hinged upon military battles. War is insane without a doubt but for some reason we just can't seem to stear clear of it.

July 16, 1945, New Mexico: The testing of the first atomic bomb. It would be awesome to see and to hear Oppenheimer's famous quote, "I have become death, the destroyer of words"

Another one would be October, 1962, the Excom meeting in the White House during the Cuban Missile Crisis. It would be fascinating to witness the debates during the closest we came to nuclear war.

Even though I am not black it would be pretty awesome to have been on the bus with Rosa Parks on December 1, 1955 or to be at the March on Washington on August 28, 1963.

Well, the Jesus part is definitely #1.

It'd be neat to be there when they assassinated Julius Caesar.

I'd probably like to see the D-Day, on Omaha beach specifically. Catching the assassination of Franz Ferdinand would be a trip too.

1979 Daytona 500. Kidding of course, but probably the JFK assassination, or to see how they built the pyramids.
