Loved both. I prefer the "real-life" drama incorporated into Star Trek particularly Star Trek:TNG.

The "newer" Star Wars movies suck balls. I will say Star Trek.....but only because of some family memories growing up.

Star Wars, based only on the original trilogy. The new movies are garbage.

I can't really decide, I love a couple of the Star Trek films (Khan, First Contact, the new one) and the Next Generation tv show, Deep Space 9 was ok, couldn't get into Voyager or the one with Bakula in it.
The initial Star Wars trilogy is amazing and a big part of my childhood with all of the toys and stuff, but the new movies were just so Lucas-esque bad it nearly ruins the OT.

As of right now, I'm only going to count the "new stuff"...
In regards to that, Star Trek was >>>>>>>>>> better than any of the newer Star Wars movies.

I liked them pretty much the same but chose Star Wars due to the movies being much better.
Star Trek, the memories growing up watching TNG and Enterprise with my dad is a great memory, but the only decent/good movie they ever put out was the newest one that just hit DVD/Blu-Ray. All of the rest stunk.
While Episode 1 and 2 blew donkey balls, Episodes 3-6 of Star Wars (yes, I liked Episode 3) were pretty good movies.
