Isn't FFT a lawyer or doctor or something?

Or does he just drop knowledge, like whoa.

For me, it's more of the opposite. I tend to see and acknowledge the posts made by posters whom I don't value more than those who post good stuff. Once the credibility is gone, it's hard to get back. There are more posters who post stuff that is enjoyable to read than the garbage posts sometimes found on these threads.

There are a lot of very good posters. I think what the Huddle has going for it is the diversity of viewpoint and areas of aptitude. E.g., if you want to know about 17th century philosophy, you better talk to otrap. Or if you want to know about Cold War nuclear issues, talk to ptown. Or if you want to know about thermodynamics (or whatever it's called), talked to jmog. Or if you want to know about being a pimp, talk to Zwick.

Of course, there's expertise in many of the more mundane areas, too, like who to start for your fantasy football team, or how to draw up a Cover 3 against trips, etc. There's a lot of expertise in a lot of different areas on the Huddle. I ended up getting tons of invaluable input about budgeting/homebuying from Huddlers (though you bastards failed me on icebreaker suggestions for our Christmas Party, which is this Saturday--we're expecting 40-45 people, so it'll be a full house).

Precisely. Like if anyone wants to know how to live like a (lot) less good-looking version of Brad Pitt's character in True Romance, I'm the dude to talk to.

I'm quite possibly the most intelligent human on Earth, so needless to say I am surprised I haven't been mentioned.
