How much do you spend on Fireworks?

I cut back over the years and last year we where in Chicago so I spent nothing. This year we're staying home so I will spend a few bucks for fireworks $200.00 maybe ...My neighbor and his kids put on a big firework display ($3000 or more) but this year they will not be doing fireworks ...the family will be traveling over the Fourth.

I picked some up an hour ago the guy in front of me and I think his brother dropped $800.00 total. I ask the girl what was the largest sale she had today ... 1500.00

Going out after dinner tonight to the fireworks store across the river in Missouri. I won't spend too much though. Maybe some decent aerial displays and some boom-booms.

I usually spend between 1500 and 2000....they are a lot off fun and my 7 year old loves to play with them. We host around 50-60 each year for our "Shoot Off"

They are dangerous, and people get hurt. I will take the kids to see professional displays.

The most i've ever spent was about $350. My dad always spends around $1000-$2000. Won't be spending much this year other then some sparklers for the kid, leaving it up to NYC.

A bunch of us all chip in and spend about $2,000. That's between 8 to 10 people.

I've never had actual real fireworks. Haven't bought any for years, but it was always the lame stuff from WalMart or something.

I sit in my backyard and look across Lake Erie where I can view as many as four different fireworks shows. There's no need for me to spend anything!

Z fricken O...a bunch of hillbillies around me set their crappy stuff around me, usually ending up in my pool, the money I don't spend on fireworks goes to spending on chemicals to balance the pool out again. I get so pissed that I generally find somewhere else to be, might as well stand at the pools edge and throw in 20's...damn hillbillies.

One of my best friend's birthday is on the 4th of July so growing up his parents always threw a big party within their group of friends (my parents included) they bought several thousand dollars worth, the show normally lasted about 25 mins.

Oh, and I can assure you we're not hillbillies lol.

... $ 0.00

Actually I love watching the hilljacks pull into Phantom Fireworks in their pickups and wheel out 3 shopping carts full of SHI+ and knowing full well one of the dumb asses will blow one or several of his didgets off. Or there are the necks of make their own...

Can't you put a cover on it? Or if in Ohio call the cops? Or tell the neighbors to pay or you'll call the cops?

Zip, Zero, Not Ah. Seems like whenever I, or some else around me, plays with fireworks I always end up getting hit with one or having close calls.
