Kurt Sutter wants "at least" 7 seasons out of SOA.

That seems like a pretty big stretch to me, but then again, he just completed my favorite season to date and based on ratings I wasnt alone in that feeling. I think most series should wrap up at 6 or 7 seasons to go out on top and not get played out, so I hope Sutter does just that.

EDIT: The link...derrrrr http://www.deadline.com/2011/12/kurt-sutter-hopes-to-keep-sons-of-anarchy-going-for-at-least-7-seasons/

SOA has been getting top 10 ratings on cable so that is pretty good.

Typically some game from ESPN is above them, and for the life of me WWE is usually in the top few as well.

The only "Drama" ahead of them is Walking Dead. I woudl be surprised if Walking Dead sustained its popularity, unless it gets a bit quicker paced. While SOA just completed a tremendous season with a ton of action. SOA could be Cables #1 Drama next year (though Breaking Bad will have a lot to say about that).

SOA is also beating many Broadcast shows in certain demographics. I would guess P:18-49 and in particular M:18-34 and A: 18-34

Laley, you may think Walking Dead needs to get "quicker paced," but the critics are still raving about the show. It's following the comics while implanting it's own scenarios perfectly. Ratings were ridiculously high this season.

SOA is an awesome show though, I've been watching from S1.

I can;t wait for MadMen to return though. Don't know how many fans there are of that show, but I love it.
