Well, they won the series versus Arizona. Felt like we lost. Still cant score, fuck this offense. Up 3-0 on the Reds thus far, but they will probably get swept and end the series as a draw. Oh well, Ill still watch.

also, anyone going to any of these games? I think I might make a trip down and do kings island in the morning and then the game at 4 pm Saturday.

In case anyone is interested, because I found this to be quite remarkable. Chris "Pure Rage" Perez has converted 29 of his last 30 ONE (1) run saves. He has converted 19/20 saves this season (not all of the 1 run variety, obviously).

Doesn't pertain to this series but, the starting pitcher for the National Champs last night (Michael Roth) was the Tribe's 31st round draft choice the year.

Not till sometime in September at the earliest. I really don't see them bringing him back this season, and risking further injury.

I'm checking in to this bullshit thread. Of course Masterson will lose tomorrow, that's what he does. Ocab will probably go 0-4 and we will lose 3-0. This team is garbage and being in first is a total joke. (end sarcasm)

Masterson will pitch a good game, except for giving up a 2 run double to the pitcher. The offense will muster 5 hits and 4 runs... The entire series.

By saying he may not pitch again this year, I think they are being extremely careful with him so they don't have another Adam Miller situation. But I may be wrong. It will probably depend on how he feels when he begins his throwing program.
And speaking of Adam Miller, he got a save last night for Akron. It would be a great story if this kid could ever make it to Cleveland. So much talent.

Wow, last I read about him, his career was jeporady. It was serious after/during the Giants series. So we made the thread and it was serious on the DBacks thread, but we won 2/3. Thus, keeping it going into this series.
