Here is my mini problem. I've been going to the gym working out about 4-5 days a week and while I love going to the gym there are some negatives that are leading me to considering adding on a home gym. Every Tuesday and Thursday while I'm working out from 6:30am-1:15pm I always get interrupted by Hans Magnusson. I mean Hans is a fairly strong guy but he always want to do the bench with me and spot each other. Well Hans only benches about 465 lbs and that is just not what I want from my workout and it takes up my precious time of my workout as I generally workout with about 620 lbs on the bench and on max out days I really need my time that he is taking by adding on all the weights. Then around noon when I'm doing my leg presses some fucker named Herschel who "claims" he played in the NFL and was in the olympics.......black SOB said he was on the bobsled team...lol. Anyways.....he always jumps on the machine before me and the pussy is doing reps of about 800 lbs and acting all badass and everyday I wait for him and start doing 1300th pounds and he just keeps bothering me and asking me for my autograph. I'm like....fuck off pecker gnat.

So....what do you think....universal or free weights?

I tried using the resistance bands...but no matter how many I use it just doesn't feel like I'm benching very much.

Goodluck with that. I can go out and run on my own 5-6 days a week but as far as weights, resistance, pushups, situps, etc, I find it hard to focus at home and need the gym atmophshere to lift.

I imagine if ya do make one that is fairly nice, and away from the living quarters it may work out.

What was that Ab thing that looked like a spaceship? They were gray with a red plastic thing to press against the belly. AWESOME piece of equipment. I'll check ebay. Herschel does the old fashion situps....this ain't 1979.

I work out with Mark McGuire and Carl Edwards. They are always asking me for workout advice. Its like dude, Im trying to workout, leave me alone. I even put headphones and listen to my cassette tapes, they still bug me!!! Hate that. And Edwards never wipes down the equipment when he is done, drives me nuts!!!!

Barry Bonds is the WORST! Tried spotting that bitch on the bench press once and his melon is so huge that his ears were tickling the inside of my thighs.

Surprisingly, Ripkin doesn't take very many days off. Galloway is always fuckin hurt it seems. One time Herschel put him in a headlock and Joey's right eyeball popped out on the floor, bitch tit Ripkin picked it up and threw it to McGuire and McGuire stuck it in his ear and and then ran over and frenched kissed Carl Edwards....I'm like Jesus Christ guys settle the hell down.....I'm using the 180 lbs dumbells but I 'm really wanting to throw them at the idiots messing up my workout.

LMFAO!!! I remember that!! Galloway ran around for 2 hours yelling,,,, "OH my eyeball! Oh my eyeball!!" I think he ran into the mirrors about half a dozen times.

I think you just need to stick to the high impact aerobics.
