She and I both scored a 29 on ours. She got a 29 without a calculator for the math portion, too. I'm smarter than her, though.

She has a brain a third the size of yours. It's science.

Both of my boys took it multiple times, mostly to get used to the speed they must work at to finish the sections... The first ended up with a 33, which earning him a free ride, the second ended up with a 29.

It's been years, but I believe I scored a 32 or 34. Mrs. FFT scored a 33, I believe.

I interviewed to teach the SAT for Kaplan and had to take a practice SAT to show that I was legit. I scored a 1600 on it, though in fairness, that was my junior year of college.

Mensa has arrived! C'mon ftf.......if you are smart enough to obtain a 32-34 (not saying you aren't or didn't)but you have to remember which one it was. It's like saying you helped plan and build the space shuttle but you forget if it's lefty loosey, righty tighty or counter-clockwise.

It was over a decade ago, and it's not like this is the sort of thing that comes up in conversation. As far as I know, the only times I've ever mentioned my score were on threads like this.

ACT/SAT/LSAT/MBE are very important in the immediate aftermath, but the value rapidly starts to fade. 5 years ago I could give you the LSAT/GPA 25/75 breakdowns for every top law school. 3 years ago I knew the vault/chambers rankings relevant to what I do by heart. But now? That stuff slides pretty far down the list. Now, I can give you the salary/bonus breakdown by class year and market for major law firms. I'm sure in 5 years, I won't remember any of that either.

I took it twice. Got a 29 the first time and a 30 the second. Pretty sure that played a role in getting a $1000 scholarship. Either that or pity, as my 3.55 GPA put me one spot outside the top 10% in my class. Either way, the scholly was one of those where you could get it renewed as long as you kept a 3.5 GPA. After one quarter, I was mathematically eliminated from that happening. 2.2, BABY!!!!

Took it twice, don't remember for sure but the first one was better by a point. It was either 32-31 or 31-30. Reading was bad, I didn't read the passages. Read questions then went back and tried to find answers. Science and math were both 35.

The ACT goes back that far? I thought was rather new in terms of standardized testing? I remember taking it in the 7th grade because it was just being introduced and they decided to give a few of us, who they thought could handle it, a shot.

I took it twice. Got a 26 both times. With almost identical scores in each section. I said F it after that even thought my parents wanted me to take it a 3rd time.

There are either a lot of smart fucks on here or a bunch of liars...

I took it once... the morning after a football game 2 hours away and I got 22. I thought I did the best on the math portion, but did the worst..got like a 20. Thought I did the worst in science and got a 25. So, there is definitely some luck involved.

I remember some of the top people of my class (girls) who actually took high school seriously would freak out because they would get like an 18 on it. The only reason they were top of the class was because they actually cared in high school and did all their work in groups. I dont think I ever took a book home and still graduated with a 3.25

Well my brother, like Fab's bro, is real, real smart. I'm pretty sure he got a 34 or 35 and there were 2 people in his class who did get 36's.

Yeah thats how I felt. I didn't expect a score good enough to get a scholly so after I was in I was done with that shit.

I needed to get a 24 for Honor's Diploma in high school.
I needed to get a 26 to get $1,500 per semester scholarship.
I got a 27. I was perfectly content.
Had I gotten a 29, I could have applied for the full ride scholarship, but I couldn't take the ACT again because sports took up all my Saturdays. Looking back, I probably should have sacrificed a game to potentially save myself tens of thousands of dollars. Oops. I'm "paying" for it now...
