I now of at least 11 people. No one in Indy/Bloomington of my friends has FSC. All watched it on their laptops (hooked up to the TV).
I wonder what Fox would have brought in if they were allowed to have the rights.

That 8.9 million includes the Spanish-language broadcast, to be fair. Univision pulled 7.1 million for Mexico/Honduras. I'm guessing FSC had about 500,000 of that 8.9 mil.

That's what I did, hooked it up to the tv. I know 4 or 5 people that did that. Would be interesting to know that number.

Anymore most computers have an hdmi out, so you just use an hdmi cable, that's what I did. Either that or if its an lcd or plasma it has a vga in, which is what a standard monitor uses.

Pending on your TV and Computer, its just a cable and then change the input to said cable on the TV. Most computers will have an HDMI or VGA. On a Mac, just buy the adapter (its like 20 bucks). I use it for all the Barca games. You then go to settings and have to either mirror the images or put one monitor on the left and other right...just so you know where to drag the stuff onto the TV. If you mirror it you dont have to worry about that, but it is annoying imo lol.

I was in 2 different bars during the game and they were packed, lots of "AMERICANS" in there. You're reaching.
How do you distinguish a 'USA American'? lol

lulz all ya want... but there is a distinct and identifiable difference between Latino-Americans and the vast majority of sports - loving USA Americans who have turned a blinds eye towards soccer. Sure you're gonna find pockets like a bar or two here & there who cater to the grown up skinny kids that didn't play real sports and still cling to their club soccer days.

Latino-Americans will probably make up 30% of the country by 2050. ESPN et al would be foolish to ignore the growing segment.

Pockets? This was in NYC....all the sports bars in the area were packed....same goes for last summer when the WC was going on. You're clueless.

This was on the upper west side, the only people rooting for Mexico were the waitstaff.
You should try getting out more.

What are the most and least USA American cities? I'll take a stab at it:
Top 3 most USA American:
1. Nashville: Country music, big hats, BBQ, and no MLS team
2: Omaha: Corn, overalls, football, trucks, no MLS team ... 'nuff said.
3. Dallas: Big hats, big trucks, far enough away from the border that there aren't a lot of non-USA Americans. Their biggest sports star is a German and they have a soccer team though, so that knocks them to #3
Bottom 3 most USA American:
1. New York: Homogays getting married, immigrants, and an MLS team
2. Chicago: Homogays, Obama, immigrants, an MLS team
3. Los Angeles: Homogays in the movie industry, immigrants, TWO MLS teams

Man, Obama's done a lot to ruin Chicago's USA American status if Chicago rates higher (lower?) in the standings that L.A. with its "HollyWEIRD".

I figure he's the leader of the non-USA Americans, so it counts for extra.
