Rumor is Russell Edgington and rumor is he will appear in next week's season finale.
This would seem to make sense since they are going to have to do something with Alcide, whose character will have to play a lot larger role in season 5.

I also see Sookie and Alcide hooking up in the future. She won't be able to choose between Eric and Bill and now Alcide is available.

Pretty weak season finale, leading up to that crazy ending...kinda happy Teras dead lol we all called that a few pages back.

OMG! What a season finale! First half kind of cheesy but what a finish. Much death! No more Jesus, Nan, Debbie, and Tara.
Rev. Steve Newlin returns but he is a vampire now! lmao
And Russell Edgington escaped his concrete tomb.
Some great one liners.
Too much to put here. Grandma Stackhouse and Rene returned.
Wonder what dark past Terry has that would make the ghost of Rene (a big POS himself) to tell Arlene to, "RUN!"

Well, Ball has his two villains already lined up for next season with Russell back and Rev. Newlin as a vamp. I suspect with Debbie getting killed and Sookie now single again, it means she and Alcide will at least attempt to get together and then she'll get all messed up in were politics instead of vampires -- but with Russell back, the vampire politics should be flowing hot and heavy as well.GoJPM!;892607 wrote:OMG! A really good finale and a bit unexpected in some ways. I loved that they brought back Adele and Rene for cameos, too.

I think season five will see vampires vs. vampires. Two differnet factions. One side with Bill and Eric and the other with Russell and the Reverend Steve. Be interesting to see allegiances next season, particulary Pam, who seems to becoming more and more disillusioned with Eric. Could see her joining Edgington and Newlin. Sookie will probably re-join Bill and Eric, just because, those are her true loves....lol

As for the finale, I loved it. The end was awesome. Some gay shit leading up to it, but the ending made it all worth it. Bill and Eric as badasses should be amazing next season!

I'm not 100% sure they'll kill off Tara. Perhaps Bill and Eric will sense her predicament and come and save Tara? Nan Flanigan did say that the authority put an order for Bill and Eric to receive the "true death". And Russell wanted to take down the authority in season 3. Pam can't go against her maker, no matter what. If Eric tells her to do something, she has to do it. That's one the basics of the mythology.
