Any sport where you can have an advantage by buying better equipment is a freaking joke.

You could use brand new Ping G15's and the worst player on the Hooters tour could use some butterknife blade from the 50's and beat you by 20 strokes on your best day.

If you have no talent, no technology will help you.

He's just trolling. No way he's dumb enough to actually believe what he is typing.

A lot of people who've never golfed before feel this way about golf. I can't name a single person I've introduced to the game who didn't agree that it was the hardest sport they've ever tried to get good at.

You should have tried. I looked it up and saw Ohio State's mens' team was only 6th of 30 in the NCAA championships and then were bounced in the first round of match play by Okie State. With you there, that'd be another national championship for the trophy case!

That's my point. Take two people of equal talent and the one with more money(and better equipment) wins every time. That is why the game is a joke.

If you practiced maybe you could break 40 on a front 9 somewhere.

Please explain why the hell you have 2 putters if you feel so negative about golf? I've played since I was 6 years old and have only had one putter (the same one that is) for the past 21 years.....and I love golf.

I have kindergarten students who can make a 3 pointer......basketball must not be too hard either.

How many guys have made it to the NBA because they are just pretty much extremely tall? Haw many guys have made the PGA because of genetics?

What other sport can you see a kid's height and say what sport they should play? Only basketball....or maybe a jockey.

No one picks up a basketball and almost immediately is better than an average 7th grade basketball player......no one starts golfing and shoots worth a damn.....or dare I say what an average 7th grader might be shooting.

No they don't win every time.....golf is not a sport where you shoot the same score everyday.....some days you shoot 6-10 shots worse than the day before....sometimes you play better but shoot a little worse.

Replace "more money" with "more height" and you have basketball.

Yes they do. The sport is a joke, the rest of your post is non sense. I carry 2 putters because the game doesn't require more than 3 clubs to be successful.

And yes, if you buy better equipment you had an advantage, that makes the sport even more of a joke than it already is.

I am glad you no flippin clue what "every time" means and it's beyond awesome you carry 2 putters..and yes my post was nonsense but it done purposefully and still makes far more sense than yours.

My point is that your real sport depends on god given size and strength where in golf, anyone of any size can be good which makes it much harder to be elite at golf. Also buying better equipment does not make you better 100% of the time.

He could practice the rest of his life and still not be good, it is the nature of the game and he don't understand it.

Golf is by far the toughest sport to be good at. That's why you see some many different winners at PGA events. It's very difficult to be consistent on the golf course. Not to mention, every golf course is different, so that adds to the difficulty.
