Urban meyer now will be calling games tih Speilman on ESPN. They wil lbe saturday noon starts and most times will be with big Ten teams.

How convenient is this for him? A year of covering the conference and team to see if he wants the OSU job or not

Convenient except for having to work with Spielman.

My father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate's girlfriend works with a local realtor and said there's some big news about to drop with regard to Urban Meyer in Columbus. Story should break next Wednesday . . . ;)

I like Spiels much better on ESPN as a color commentator than I do on the radio. I assume they will have a three man team with someone else calling play by play? Can't see Chris or Coach being able to do the play by play at this point.

I think I know her, she is a good source for accurate information. I would call her tonight and ask her about it, but today is Friday and she sometimes spends Friday evenings watching jeopardy with her cat and turns her phone off. I will talk to her on Monday at lunch time when she delivers our Italian food from the Chinese restaurant she works for on Mondays and Thursdays.

Yes, I heard on the radio today who the play-by-play guy on the team is, but I can't remember. It has also already been announced that they will be calling the OSU-Akron game.

Sean McDonaugh used to do games with Speilman. They were always good together. Hope they don't break that up.

I just don't think he is very good in the booth. It's not my Blue blood either. Many of my Buckeye fans feel the same. He seems like a knucklehead in the booth.

It wasnt McDonaugh. It was a name I didnt readily recognize.

Maybe Meyer and Speilman will both be scouting and take jobs at OSU after this!

I think I remember now. He started with Pam Ward (yuck), then went to McDonaugh with Bob Griese. Last season he was with the very underrated Dave Pasch. The guy with the huge nose.

College football head coach = 14 hour days, seven days a week, year round.

College football analyst = about 3 days of traveling a week during football season and some occasional studio work in the off-season.

Do you think that Chris Spielman would be doing this if it meant he couldn't spend time with his kids, especially after his wife died? As ana analyst he'll probably get to spend as many hours a week with his family as a guy who works a 9-5 job.

Please, don't count me as one of them, because I love his candor... even though he may not be as smooth and polished as some of his peers, I enjoy listening to someone who's been there, has paid his dues, and doesn't give a rat's-ass about being PC

Have you seen a record of this? An auditor link or MLS number would be very good proof. I know you said you had a buddy who works for the city.

Address? I have a really hard time believing it without some city official leaking it.
