I was making a general overview of the league so far, saying the Packers are clearly the best and then Ravens and Patriots in the AFC. Then mentioned outside of those teams I still think the Steelers are capable of throwing a wrench into things come playoff time. A lot of people were saying the same things last year and they made it to the Super Bowl so it's not that far fetched.

In a thread based on constant random chatter, it makes no difference whether you join an existing conversation or make your own points. Then others have the option of ignoring or making a counter point, which happened in this case. That's how it works.

I think it will be tough to get past the divisional round because Baltimore is going to win a lot of games, maybe even better than 13-3 which will send the Steelers on the road.

If I had to make the call today I say the Steelers make the playoffs, win the wild card round and lose a heartbreaker on the road in the divisional round.

They're not just going to throw up their hands and figure the season is over. That might be how the Browns operate but the Steelers will go back to the lab and figure out the right formula.
