FWIW I think Tebow is better for Denver than Orton.

At this point, it's really not debatable that Tebow isn't a good passer. He had multiple passes that exhibited terrible footwork, and throws weren't as on the money as they should have been (like the low 20 yard comeback route that the WR almost caught but was too low to make a good effort on).

But, being a quarterback and a leader isn't just about being a good passer. For that reason, Tebow is the best chance Denver has. His running ability, ability to keep plays alive, and the fire he instills in his team make him invaluable as a QB.

Browns DE Marcus Bernard pulled a "Roethlisberger/Winslow" this afternoon crashing his Can-Am Spyder motorcycle on I-71 & W65TH. Supposedly traveling at a high rate of speed. In serious condition supposedly with broken ribs, a broken wrist & road rash. Not life threatening. When will these idiots learn?

60% is where the upper end of decent starts in the NFL. Low 50's is bad, 44% is terrible.

Tebow was better than Orton in preseason 108.3 to 104.1
Now reg. season in 5 games, Orton is 28th in the NFL @ 75.7 , Tebow in one game is 101.7
Orton's career QB rating is 79.4, his best year was 87.5 last year.
Tebow last year in his 3 games was 82.1, better than 4 of Orton's 6 seasons.
Yesterday in the first half Orton had 46% completions. His QB rating was 21.0

Anyway, MNF game coming soon. How do you all think this game will turn out? I think the Lions come out strong and win comfortably. They are going to be fired up playing in their first MNF in a very long time. They owe the Bears some payback for bs call in the first game of the season last year.

I think the Lions win 31-17, as I posted somewhere earlier. I look for Suh, Van Don Bosch, and Fairley to have big games. Ill predict they gate 5 sacks, Fairley 1.5 in his debut and Suh 2.0

I'm up ten points and opponent has Calvin Johnson and Marion Barber...I MIGHT have been able to get away with just facing Barber, but Johnson will kill me I bet.

I'd argue quinn should've got the start over tebow. He won the number 2 qb spot in training camp. Tebow is a terrible quarterback, plain and simple. and LOL at you yelling at everyone and saying you don't defend him, when you are basically crying over people ripping him as a player. You are just as pathetic as the "tebow haters"

/Thread. No one can top this.

Completion % is a HUGE part of being a QB. Because, you know, incomplete passes lose a down and gain no yardage.

NOBODY BUT FANS goes by QB rating. Its invalid because it doesn't take into account anything but 4 stats. No mechanics, no ability to extend plays, no running ability, no ability to read defenses, etc.

Preseason means shit, and its an uneven playing field. Your 1 QB faces 1 defenses and your 2-3 QB face 2-3 defenses. Nobody goes 100% in preseason.
