I played in a few tournaments in Cincinnati a few years ago and the top guys could probably make 7 or 8 out of 10. Some of them also took forever to throw and they'd have games that would put the Red Sox/Yankees games to shame as far as time goes. The best my team ever did was second in a tournament and was around the top 5 in most of them, but all it takes is 2 bad throwing rounds in a game and you're done. It's also tough cause boards are always different, so if you're used to boards where the bags usually hit and stay you will be in trouble if you're at a tournament where the bags can hit the bottom and still slide off the board.
Anyway, that's enough about cornhole tournaments. I'm from the westside of Cincinnati AKA the SEC of cornhole play so we take it pretty seriously.

People here call cornhole "bags." I met a few guys from Jersey at a derby party at my friends. They were talking shit about being good at "bags". They got rolled.
Bocce is also great....one of the oldest drinking games of all time! I wish I could play more.

this game is at best 60% skill. my dad is legally blind and he's good for 5-6 cornholes out of 10.

I've played it a few times and its always a good time.
Went camping and fishing at Mohican State Park with the gorgeous -angel- last weekend and cornhole matches were everywhere. The people next to us even brought out 4-foot halogen construction work lights so they could play after dark (kept the mosquitos away from us!).
