Our Indians salvage a win in the last home stand against the Rockies in a series that saw each game decided by one run. The Tribe comes in at 40-33 and the Giants stand at 39-34 (at last count).

Tomorrow is an off day and then the 3 game series starts on Friday night at 10:15 (ugh!) with Carrasco at 7-3 vs. Sanchez at 4-5.

Saturday's game starts at 4:10 featuring Masterson at 5-5 and trying to get back to that early season form vs. Cain at 6-4.

On Sunday, which starts at 8:05, we will see our "ace" (which I am tired of saying and NEEDS to get back on it like RIGHT NOW) Carmona at 4-9 vs. Bumgarner at 3-9. Looks like a good match up.

Back to back series where we miss the others guys ace. Jimenez and now Lincecum. Gotta take advantage.

glad we're missing timmy k, but ubaldo has not pitched like an ace for a while now. getting 2 of 3 would be a good start to this 9 game road swing.

Jimenez' last 4 starts. 5IP/3R, 5.3IP/2ER, 7IP/2R, 9IP/0R. Not exactly sure what a guy has to do to be an ace in your book, but that is certainly not bad. The 5 innings arn't great, but you'll have that.

Well, he started out amazing last year, yet didnt get to 20 wins, and is 2-7 with a 4.68 ERA this year. Just saying...

Exactly, it seems he's getting back on track, but for the most part, Chacin has been the Rockies best pitcher..

Also, I believe The Freak has been struggling recently as well.

everyone seems concerned that we won't be able to use Hafner as a DH...but looking at the other side of the coin, he can be inserted into the lineup as a pinch hitter at any key moment in the game.

Sure, but I think I'd rather see him get 3-4 AB's than one.

More record wise. Only had 4 games where he has given up 4 or more ER. Of course, 3 of them, including the 7 run drubbing to Cincy have been in the last 4 outings.

Seems kinda weird not posting about a game tonight. I think back to last year when there were only a handful posting on the Tribe........some of which are gone now..........cough cough.......NCF.....

Tomorrow night's start at 10:00 doesn't fit in well with BRF's schedule. I hope I can make it through.

Thank GOD NCF is gone. Was thedave last year or just on the old Huddle? That guy was like a quick kick in the ovaries after anything happened. Most negative fan Ive ever "met"

I don't remember thedave posting last season... I do remember going at it with NCF multiple times though. Dude was a joke.

I don't think thedave ever posted over here. And that's a good thing. And NCF....he's currently leg pressing his trailer.

Looking foeward to tonight's game to see if CC can keep his string of dominant starts going. It really is important to win the first game in this series for the Tribe. The TV guys said they have lost 9 series when losing the first game.
