Beatles and Alice in Chains come to mind but those would be pretty easy
Yeah, those could work but Curly J said why not do Rush which I felt wouldn't work because there's only three members.

Not a bad list, but no Lyin' Eyes or Peaceful Easy Feeling - both of those would be in my top 5, New Kid in Town is another that would make the top 10.

Sorry, my sarcasm font was turned off. ;) I was saying Rush because Geddy sings all the songs, except for the word Subdivisions. I guess I lolfail at trying to be funny.

All answers are in. Thanks to everyone for participating.

Fleetwood Mac was one band I had in mind, as well as the Beatles. The Tempations have probably the most variation on sharing lead vocals along with rotating members, but not many people would get those answers right. CSNY would be another good one but those answers would be fairly easy, to me anyway.

Not sure on this, I thought it was Lee was an altered mic.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roll_the_Bones_(song)

"The song is also notable for featuring a spoken two-part "rap" after the guitar solo. This rap is performed by bassist/vocalist Geddy Lee; his altered voice is achieved through a drastic lowering of pitch and adding various effects."

Yep I'm aware of that too. I didn't feel like posting every song that had a backing vocal or words spoken...Subdivisions was the first that came to mind.

This might sound stupid, but Hold Your Fire is one of my favorite albums from them with Time Stand Still being my favorite song from it. I actually attended a concert in Dayton Ohio on the Hold Your Fire Tour where I got Geddy and Alex's autographs back in 1988. (no Neil) And before someone digs through research as says "Dayton Ohio doesn't show up on the Hold Your Fire Tour cities" it was an add on date since they didn't come to Cincinnati and was the very last concert in North America before heading to Europe on tour.

I was actually in the middle of researching Rush concert dates in SW Ohio in 1988 when you posted that. It's a good thing you clarified it or I'd have been all over your asss. :)
