No but I will say if we are going to incorrectly assume that teams play on a constant level every week, then Ohio State should have beat Illinois badly. The same Illinois that lost to Missouri by ten actually. They went 7-6, and let Michigan score 67 points on them. I would say they would have had a tough game against a pretty talented Tulsa team.
Not forgiving the Tulsa loss, but I wasn't too angry after it. The last play was irrelevant. Notre Dame played with a freshmen quarterback who threw three interceptions. Notre Dame still put up ~460 yards and held Tulsa to without an offensive touchdown in the final three quarters. Hell, Tulsa only scored one offensive touchdown the whole game and that stat alone shows me how bizarre of a game it was. The defense, coming off its Navy sodomization, was starting to play well. But having a true freshmen quarterback being called upon to throw 54 passes in his first considerable action as a collegiate player....bad things can happen. Then throw the bonehead call on at the end, and it was a weekend to forget.
That is the second of two games Dayne Crist lost for the Irish.

He won't be injury free this season, but Kelly has done a great job (because he is actually a good coach, contrary to some opinions here) of preparing depth at the positions. If they lose to a Tulsa-type team this year, then I'll be livid. I took all of 2010 with a grain of salt.
