Yep, they were there Saturday. I'll get some pics when I get home. Pretty cool sight. WBC was supossed to be there, but the strangest thing happened. They woke up Saturday morning to find all the tires flat on their vans. What are the odds of that happening? :D

Its a motorcycle gang of old vets and people that are tired of the WBC. They place themselves between the protesting and the funeral procession and rev their engines and play patriotic music to drown out the protesting from the people attending the funeral.

It's sad that the Patriot Guard Riders have had to turn into a security force for military funerals.

Or they just didn't show. Like they don't for the majority of things they say they're going to protest. Good story though.

If anything I would say that is putting the country further behind. Just because you and I dislike how they exercise their 1st amendment right doesn't mean we should prevent them from being able to do it.

I agree with your general premise, however, free speech doesn't mean you don't deserve your ass kicked for what you say. You can't just go around saying whatever and doing whatever you want with no consequences.

One of those links states that while at the bar, Dunn consumed 3 beers and 3 shots in 4 hours.

In an average person, 1 alcoholic beverage takes 1 hour to completely get out of your system.

So you could argue that if Dunn had not been drinking prior to the bar he was at, his BAC would be around .04%. (1 alcoholic beverage in your system is equivalent to .02%)

In someone who is a heavy drinker, the BAC would probably be closer to 0....if that's ALL that they drank in 4 hours.

I'm going to guess that when the toxicology reports come out....he wasn't legally impaired (.08%). He was probably just driving too fast.

If that's the case...a lot of people bashing him for it are going to look like real assholes (Roger Ebert included).

Being a heavy drinker acutally impairs your body's ability to process alcohol, not increases it.

Perhaps, but a heavy drinker would build a tolerance to the effects of alcohol.

An alcoholic of 20 years could blow a .16 and drive normally. If I blew a .16, I probably wouldn't even be able to make it out of the parking lot.

Can you change your screen name to Rain Man? Talking to you is like talking to someone with autism. Do you understand the words imply and infer? I really think you're too dense to read a post and understand what someone was trying to say or imply or infer. Example: "Con_Alma is a Jackass" which implies you're jerk. You probably read it and think someone is actually calling you a donkey.

Almost all of the time I know exactly what folks are trying to "imply" or "infer". I simply inquire or ask leading questions in hopes of inspiring them to not beat around the bush and just say it. Haven't you picked that up from my posts or might that denseness you speak of exist in your personality?

Watch the news. They showed up. Or perhaps go to the LPD and get the police report if the news isn't good enough?

What i pick up from your post is an innate ability to have a free flowing conversation with out asking questions you already know the answer to.

Don't be so sure that it's innate. There's certainly the possibility that it's a learned trait over many years.

At least we've established that implications and inferences are understood.

I'm impressed, a straight forward answer without the yoda-ish questions fishing for answers that either aren't there or that you already know the answer to, well done.

There was no answer provided because there was no question asked. It was simply a dumbing down of the obvious for entertainment purposes.

I tried to imply it so you might better relate, however.

I can see why now.. Your bangin' head on keyboard gif isn't quite showing up. :(

The question is why do you have such conversations then?

.196 per that link.

Apparently they weren't monitoring his intake very well, or he was blitzed when he arrived at the bar.

Wow.
