Only takes a couple of minutes at the big hospitals. I had biopsies taken from lungs and when I came out of surgery they already had results. They can test right there in the surgical unit during surgery.
Good Luck Thread Bomber!

+1 I always thought this as well. Heretic never seemed seemed like the type that would post all those crazy news links he doesn't have time for that.
TB you're pretty great though man my best wishes are with you and I hope you beat this cancer!

I can verify that TB is not Heretic or Snot. I would've never thought he was Snot, either.

Drunk at 6:30 PM. I don't blame you one bit.
Place won't be the same without your trollish (but often subsequently revealing) posts.
I know the James did great with my ex-girlfriend's Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I'm confident that you can, and will, beat this thing.
In the meantime, GTFO of my mama's bed.

So you got cancer so that you weren't so embarrassed to go to the doctor for a stubbed toe?

Stubbing my toe yesterday may very well have save my life. My doctor noticed some swollen lymph nodes while trying to repair my toe.
The cancer is in an infant stage and very treatable according to the initial diagnosis. Chemo and radiation therapy will begin early next week and the oncologist said that while nothing is certain, the prognosis is good.
This post is not meant to be a plea for sympathy, and I know and expect a few troll like responses.
I will be gone for a while to invest all of the time and energy I can muster in order to beat this shit.
I would implore all of you to have your stuff checked out as soon as you reasonably thing something is wrong. It is better to waste a few bucks and time at the doctors than letting thing take their course and letting God sort it out.
Let me now apologize for some of my posts and comments. Most were for the lulz and pure shock value, other were to expose the reality that some people are so self centered an hypocritical that they needed first to judge themselves and their behavior before passing judgment on someone else
I just filled out mt FMLA paperwork at my employer and am very fortunate to have excellent benefits at work. I am also looking into the possibility of moving to California for treatment, ( the possibility of prescribed marijuana is quite intriguing.)
So farewell for now, I'll be back. Have fun at this place, After all, It is serious business.
Why dont you just have a non hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, instead of radiation or chemo?

I have had two different cases of cancer and won.... My suggestion to you is two folded
1. Go to your faith and believe without question that whatever happens is the best and that there is for a reason .. and pray for what you want to happen
2. Don't change yourself but improve at who you are be positive, work twice as hard at whatever mentally or physically is required to get better .... and never let your family see you concerned ...
Belly is here if you need someone as a friend ...

I think I know what you're insinuating, but I don't think Bomber would fuck around regarding something as serious as having cancer--at least I sure as hell hope not
