Stubbing my toe yesterday may very well have save my life. My doctor noticed some swollen lymph nodes while trying to repair my toe.
The cancer is in an infant stage and very treatable according to the initial diagnosis. Chemo and radiation therapy will begin early next week and the oncologist said that while nothing is certain, the prognosis is good.
This post is not meant to be a plea for sympathy, and I know and expect a few troll like responses.
I will be gone for a while to invest all of the time and energy I can muster in order to beat this shit.
I would implore all of you to have your stuff checked out as soon as you reasonably thing something is wrong.It is better to waste a few bucks and time at the doctors than letting thing take their course and letting God sort it out.
Let me now apologize for some of my posts and comments. Most were for the lulz and pure shock value, other were to expose the reality that some people are so self centered an hypocritical that they needed first to judge themselves and their behavior before passing judgment on someone else
I just filled out mt FMLA paperwork at my employer and am very fortunate to have excellent benefits at work. I am also looking into the possibility of moving to California for treatment, ( the possibility of prescribed marijuana is quite intriguing.)
