Use their stuff against them, since no one over there is using it...or the site for that matter. I think the term(s) was perfected over here. Clown Stomp that other place as it's probably censored over there. The Irony.

Sweet shirts IMO by these guys. Would be a good shirt to put an interlocked OC or something on it. Just some extra custom stiching...

I like the color on color the best. Not sure which one I am going to get, there are so many choices.

This is my favorite, but it's only available in ladies. I prefer the charcoal to black.

Black on Black in Medium is sold out. Crap!

I like this one. I think I may go with a gray one though so it can be worn to OSU games.

Edit: I guess they call that scarlet in the description so I think this is it. Looked more like Indiana U red to me. But then OSU left scarlet a long time ago.

I hope this is meant as a joke because those shirts look like shit and only a dork would wear it. Looks like a bird shit on a red t-shirt.

I would think the OC would have more class when it comes time to design their own shirt.

$26 isn't terrible, especially for a shirt like that. I'd rather pay more for a nice quality t shirt than pay $12 for a shitty heavy weight cotton piece of crap.

Polo shirts are what you need to sell but not from this company, they are a little over priced.
People always look at polo shirts to see what the Logo says, they can be worn everywhere and not look out of place in public.

Companies give chachkees away for advertisement. I'm not sure selling chachkees is the best idea to raise funds.

There's got to be a way to raise money and the chachkee is thrown in to help further market the website. I don't think that selling this stuff is going to raise very much cash.

The OC isn't a "company" big enough to give stuff away. At least not stuff like t shirts and koozies because it wouldn't have any sort of return on the investment. A lot of smaller community based sites like the OC have sold things like that for years as a way to generate funds. It's a way for members to help out the site at the same time getting something in return. It's not a new idea and has worked well for other sites. You can't compare me to a company that has 5000 t shirts made and gives them away at a trade show or something.

Most people aren't going to care how nice of a shirt it is... it's a t-shirt. For something like this, anything over $15 will most likely price you right out of anyone caring about them at all.

I know you had never said you would get ones like that and sell them for $26, and the guy was talking about those other ones, but I was just saying that most people are going to find $26 to be terrible if you DID decide to go in that direction, mainly because it is. To make enough money to justify doing it, yet getting people to pay a reasonable price is most likely going to lead to shirts that aren't the greatest quality, but they won't be complete shit most likely either.

Yikes! I am not comparing the OC to anything. It just seems that selling things that are often given away doesn't seem like an opportunity to make a large return.

How much markup can you put on these items without pricing them out of desire? How much return would you consider a positive effort regarding these? $100? $1,000? $10,000? I truly don't know.

I don't think justin is trying to get rich by selling OC tshirts. If he makes $2 a shirt and gets 50 people to buy them, I'd say that would help offset the cost of maintaining a free to use message board for a few months.
