Yeah, like I said before....Last night wouldn't have mattered who he was facing. He had every pitch working and could throw all for strikes. When a pitcher has 3 pitches that are all way above average, he can dominate ant team out there.

Its not easy to throw a no hitter against anyone. You are saying that the top 3 or whatever you are saying Verlander ranks should throw no hitters against weaker offensive teams in the league?

Thats smart. The offense is about 1900 style since Pronk went down. They were actually serviceable before that.

Now let's not get TOO negative about tonight's game, my fellow Tribe stalwarts! Afterall, this is a BRF thread (5th one started and record now of 9-4). Look for Carmona to get it together tonight.

WKNR was saying today that Pronk had better be ready by Friday for the upcoming Pirates/Rockies series' because they are at home. After that, the next 10 days will be at National League parks and he'll pretty much be pinch hitting only.

GD it, Hammy has now said "that's hit pretty well" 4 times, with nothing to show for it. Oh well, we got Fausto up for the bottom of 2 and 21 outs left.
