I can agree with that, Lebron is still the best player in the league, despite his inconsistency closing games.

How do you figure? If you make that switch, the list is no longer Bayless' top 5, which would make it inaccurate.

LeBron is easily a top 5 player in the NBA. You can argue his clutchness, or what have you about playoff performances etc. But stat wise, skill wise, physicality, and complete game make him EASILY in the top 5.

Considering that maybe a little over a year ago (before the East semi's) we were debating whether he was THE top player...I'd say his stock has fallen a bit. At this rate we might be debating whether he is top 5 in anyones book next year.

I would say there's still quite a bit of debate about whether he's THE top player.
