How does it feel to root for a team that's only relevant one year then disappears? Still dreaming about Tim Tebow, a one man show plowing through the almighty SEC? Tim Tebow would have been broken in half within 2 games in the Big Ten, if he ever got a chance to even get off the bench.

How does it feel to root for a team that's only relevant one year then disappears? ask any buckeye fan

You're delusional. OSU has won more in the past 10 years than any other football program in the country. Take into account their history being a top 5 program, and they dwarf whatever shithole you root for.

You're underestimating The Ohio State University. They have 6, and will still have at least 4 after this. They do have 5 since Clarett hit campus though.

I'll remember this when Florida fans try to boast about winning the Upstairs Disney's America Bowl brought to you by Sunoco, because that's the only bowl game they are going to win in the next 50 years.

OSU hasn't been relevant since Clarett yet they have played in 2 national title games since Clarett. Even though they lost those games, they still were in them and playing for a national title. That is the epitomy of being relevant.

Let's see: playing in six BCS games (two of them title games) is irrelevant?

I guess that's true if being one of the best 10 teams in the country year after year is irrelevant -- which, of course, is not the case.

When all is said and done with the NCAA investigation, the loss of Tressel will turn out to be -- by far -- the worst punishment for OSU. You simply can't replace a coach who has AVERAGED about one conference loss per year during his career, and won the most BCS games of any coach in history at the time he left coaching.

History shows that whoever replaces coaches this successful almost always are not as good, and the cycle takes a turn down.

Well, you're right. We can always look at OSU's 7 relevant National Championships to Florida's 3 Championships. Must suck to not even be half as good as OSU. LOL

Good point. Hey, where did you party after all those championships? And, did you celebrate differently when they won the FWAA or the NFF only, since you know, they didn't really win one of the most recognized titles in those two years? I'm interested in the perspective from someone who was there for those.

yea they were playing in those games, but they werent in actually in those games . those games for the most part were over early. no that the fact they lost. but nature in which they were blasted out of them, shows they werent really relevant.

by those standards notre dames with their 13 national title would be relevant, and almost twice as good as OSU

OSU only claims 7 NC's, and yes, I celebrated all of them.

It sucks being a Florida fan, only good with Tim Tebow(an overrated player), and the mediocrity the rest of the years. I understand you wanting the perspective from a fan of a consistent top tier program, instead of a program that isn't even the best in its own state. LOL

I've said multiple time that ND's championships are irrelevant because they have never won it on the field. It's been proven that any time ND plays a good team, they lose, so the past championships are illegitimate.

Plus come on, it's ND, they are garbage.

no fan base is as infatuated with the BCS like buckeye fans. you take back to back beat downs in title games. and just boast about playing in some consolitation game. only one BCS games any thing, everyone outside of buckeye nation knows that. i can see where playing in a non title BCS game is such a sign of greatness. didnt a 8 win uconn team get a BCS bowl? now that is greatness. i'm sure that game was relevant also.

a title is a title , and they have 13. it isnt like the rules didnt apply to all college teams . and as you stated any time ND a good team they lose, well lately the same could be said for OSU. and if past championships are illegitimate (your words not mine). well your seven are all in the past , that makes them illegitimate.
