In an interesting turn of events, the Pens did NOT give a qualifying offer to Tyler Kennedy meaning he is an unrestricted free agent this Friday. Last week the Pens gave every indication that they were going to put out the offer.

Pens offer Jagr a 1 year contract. Financials not disclosed. Detroit and Montreal are the other teams mentioned as possibilities for Jagr. We could know of his decision tomorrow.

Talk is that Toronto may be interested in Talbot and the Pens might trade his negotiation rights. I say go for it if you can and try and get something for Talbot.

Almost wish Rock was still around to rub his nose in the fact that Talbot is gone...and to Filthadelphia no less. I remember during the season that there was NO WAY that Talbot would leave the Pens.

I do like the resigning of TK. Thanks Jagr for turning the Pens down so we could use that money more productively.

Damn just saw the penguins picked up Sullivan from the Preds....if he stays healthy he could be an awesome pick up (this was probably talked about but i just saw this morning)

I do like the Sullivan pickup as well, but his health is a big issue.
