The only thing any of us said was that it didn't matter because the offense has been just as bad as Fausto. Sure, they scored some runs late, but it didn't matter, it was garbage time..
Now, hopefully that late inning rally gets the offense going. We got some hits with RISP so maybe the pressure is off. I think tomorrow (or should I say today?) is a must win for the Tribe in terms of THIS series, because no way do I think we win both of the last two games in the series.
This is our busiest time of the year and I put in 60 hours a week at work. I get home at 7....crack open a beer...and have to watch that shit go on in the first inning. As I said, I like Acta for the most part. but dammit....he needs to get Fausto the hell out of there before the game gets away.
You are just as big of a Cleveland fan as I am....that is why I don't understand why you and Laley are OK with Acta letting the game get away. This bullpen of Smith, Sipp, and the Perez boys are the strength of this team. And collectively, they are the most underworked pen in the league. After Carmona's latest shitstorm, Acta compounded the problem by inserting Pee Wee while there was still time and hope....
Like Herm Edwards said, "you play to win the game"...and that's true whether you are up 4 runs or down 4 runs. I'm sick and tired of Acta's act in giving up so early in the game. He's done it way too many times to count this year.
