Four against the Yankess, three against the Tigers... bats better wake up real quick or they could be 4-5 games back after these two trips.

Im wondering if getting out of Cleveland might help these guys. Get them to have to stay together, eat together, etc. Get more focused than what it appears they were on this last homestand.

Bats are afraid. I ask Jobu to come, take fear from bats. I offer him cigar, rum. He will come.

Very bad home stand to say the least. Laley may have something. Sometimes playing on the road brings a team closer together as they are together constantly. It can't get much worse right now. Hopefully they turn it around against the evil empire. I hate this team and would love to take this series.

Looks like the Tribe only faces one of the "Buffet Brothers" (Colon...pronounced like the tube where excrement comes from since I've always thought he was a fat piece of shit) in that they will skip Sa-FAT-thia.

Indians versus Yankees in the Jacobs/Progressive Field era 1994 - 2010.

Yankees 97 wins, Indians 52 wins
at Yankee stadium Yankees 50 wins, Indians 27 wins
at Jacobs Yankees 39 wins , Indians 21 wins
at Progressive Yankees 8 wins, Indians 4 wins

Alltime series Yankees 1091 wins, Indians 866 wins.

Time to get rid of interleague play and have more than 6 or 8 games against AL teams in the other divisions.

What's the playoff record against each other during that same time frame?

All of those guys are hittable. Yankees haven't been great as of late. Have to get 2 of 4..anything more would be gravy.

Anybody heard any Pronk updates?

Even though he can be maddeningly inconsistent, I will always remember Fausto's performance in that 2007 series, aka The Midge Game, as one of the best moments I've ever seen in baseball. It had everything, playoffs, the Yankees, Joba getting sprayed down with bugspray and coming unhinged and Fausto just mowing away the Yankees seemingly impervious to the swarm of bugs flying around his face. Sure he sucked against the Red Sox in the ALCS and hasn't really been the same since but for that one night Fausto was simply incredible.

I was at Game 1 where we shelled the Yankees, despite CC struggling big time. Most fun I've had at a game with all the shit talking the Yankees did in the 1st inning after taking an early lead.

Game 2 was amazing. So good that I purchased it on iTunes for $1.99 not too long after it was played. Fausto will always have a place in Tribe infamy for that game.

I was at Game 2. Upper deck. Didn't see a midge. Never bothered us at all.

Good news for the Tribe. They are playing baseball in New York, finally. A rainout would have given a battered Yankees bullpen a day of rest and allowed CC to start tomorrow since he never warmed up during the delay. Hopefully they play 20 innings tonight.

The Red Sox Pounded CC in the 7th and swept the series. The Yankees are struggling like another team we know.

Actually the Yankees have not been struggling as they were 8-4 before the 3 game series, just had a bad series against the sux. Since the interleague games the Yankees are 8-7, scoring 71 runs (4.7) and giving up 62 (4.1) Mean while a truly struggling Indians team over that same period is 5-11, scoring 47 runs (2.9) and allowing 91 runs (5.7), Now that is struggling both on offense and pitching.

Since the Indians were 30-15, when they had a 7 game lead, the Tigers have gained 6 games, the White Sox 2 1/2 , KC 1/2 , and the Twins 3 1/2 games on the Indians.

Over that same time span the Indians have been shutout 4 times, the Yankees 0 times, and each team has a pitched shutout, Carrasco & Perez combined for 1 and Bartolo Colon with a complete game 4 hitter for the Yankees.
