Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:O-Trap you are in every topic I make. Do not even try to lie.
Incorrect. We had this discussion. You were being called a cop hater for a long time before I even noticed your threads. However, you encouraged me to go back and look, so I did.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:I dont fuel the fire, this topic was about a shitty cop, not my fault my groupies wanted to turn this into something else. Remember stirring the pot?
This topic was about shitty cops ... and as you are obviously aware, every shitty-cops thread you start turns into a mudslinging contest, and the topic at hand never gets discussed with any level of civility.
I'm assuming you're not naive, and that you knew that this wouldn't suddenly be different. Was I wrong? Are you naive?
Up to this point: A topic about cops doing dishonorable things + Ender Wiggin as the thread starter = a giant mudslinging clusterfuck
That has happened over and over again (as it seems your purpose on this forum is to lead such a crusade). Why on earth would you actually think this would bring about different results? How does the saying go? "Only a crazy person keeps repeating the same thing and expects different results."
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:Does it matter what I like to post about?
How a person spends their time is indicative of what they care about. As such, given that a good portion of the time you have spent starting threads here has been on threads that call out (justly, to be fair) cops that dishonor the badge, it leads those around you to believe that you are attempting a crusade ... or that you've seen how they end up, and you replicate that hoping for the same results.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:You dont like it then just skip it. When I start posting personal attack from the get go and not in a retaliatory fashion then you may have a point. Until I do, you dont.
Maybe you're also naive to the fact that it doesn't take personal attacks to stir the pot. Posting in such a way as to get other posters worked up suffices just fine, and you do it to a 'T'. Again, you're either naive or you post topics like this to stir the pot.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:Girls was a jab as in they dont back up what they say like a man would.
I've known girls to cite sources rather well. Seems like a sexist thing to say.
Certainly something that wouldn't be done by anyone intending to argue intelligently.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:And please if you are going to cry about names youve called me stuff several times as well, boo fucking hoo. Lets not play that game, you will lose.
Care to back that up? Find where I've called you names.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:Its common sense ...
From a logical standpoint, common sense doesn't exist, and is actually a logical fallacy known as argumentum ad populum.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:... no one puts the actions of a few on the shoulders of the entire group.
Actually, many people do, though incorrectly. Again, you'd have to be naive to not know that.
And since few, if any, on this site know you, it wouldn't have taken much foresight to recognize that saying what you meant would have been a wiser response (not that it would ever be otherwise).
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:That shouldnt have to be explained.
You've been such a stickler for proof and backing things up. Odd that you don't hold your own statements to the same standard. Suddenly, with some comments, we're allowed to assume what you meant.
Your lack of consistency is so blatantly obvious, I have too much faith in humanity to believe that you cannot recognize your error.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:However I now know that it is a must here with the lowered intelligence level.
If you were smart, you'd realize that communicating clearly has more to do with speaking to people who don't know you. I dare you to logically connect intelligence to justifying assumption.
As a matter of fact, I would dare you to go in front of a panel of doctorates, philosophical society leaders, etc. and suggest that because they are brilliant men, they should assume that you are brilliant and enlightened and not someone who means what he says.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:Even after I made mention of what I meant after and people still try to, and fail to, bring that up.
It's because it screamed backtracking at the time (though I actually believe you).
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:Hilarious and im redundant? More hypocrisy from the board. So cute.
You write like a college freshman in vocabulary, definitional knowledge, and logical reasoning. Only reason it is continually having to be shown to you is because you either cannot (which would be truly sad) or refuse to (sad for different reasons) recognize it. I sincerely hope it is because you are only arrogant and not oblivious.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:You made mention of my delusions, im asking what they are.
I listed three examples for you. I even displayed them in list format. Did you have trouble reading them?
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:I never said I hated cops, not once.
I know. I never said you did.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:If someone else wants to come to that conclusion then thats their perogative....but do not try and pass off an opinion as fact. Simple?
I haven't. Please back up your assumption that I have.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:I havent displayed anything other than a few grammatical errors.
Dear god, you don't believe this do you?
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:You have your opinion of me, thats fine, dont pass it off as fact.
Fair enough. Your level of grammatical application is indicative of a certain level of educational retention. When it is coupled by your misunderstanding of logical principles, as well as mis-categorization of fallacies, it presents a range for that educational retention that is more consistent. However, since it is only relevant if/when you pontificate about your own intellectual superiority, I will not ever reference it if you do not try to pass yourself off as being more intelligent than that level.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:Once again, grammatical errors are a "I give up" move, you are obviously able to understand whats being written, youre already trolling, lets not sink to that level.
It was a small part of my rebuttal, and it was only in reference to your own claim of intellectual superiority, at which point it becomes relevant.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:I said I had no respect for cops, I will even say I shouldve fixed that. I was wrong there, but I said countless times after. So we can end that. We wont though because thats the ONLY point you all have.
How many times must I tell you this? I have said it multiple times in this thread already. Here, let me make it hard to miss:
I DON'T BELIEVE YOU HATE COPS! I BELIEVE YOU MISSPOKE! My only reference to those comments is that it has allowed others to call into question whether or not you do. Whether you do or don't hate cops, your communication skills are lacking, and have brought us to where we are now.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:Ive never called anyone names unnecessarily, only retaliatory. Nice try though.
Any name-calling whatsoever is unnecessary if you wish for your position on a topic to be taken seriously. Name-calling has no place in an intelligent discussion ... or at least from an intelligent person in a discussion.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:No I didnt know this topic would turn out that way, I hadnt posted in a while so I had hoped that kids here would be a bit more mature, sadly I was wrong.
I don't know how long it's been since you've posted a topic like this, but I'd almost guarantee it hasn't been two months. If you really think two months is significant to the degree that people will shift their paradigm significantly, you're very short-sighted ... much like a child who thinks 10 minutes is "forever" while waiting for recess.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:I dont care if it causes people to get angry, I will post what I want, thats someone elses problem if they cant intelligently discuss a topic. Why the hell is my fault that others choose to act a certain way?
I actually side with you on this. It's not your fault that other people act in a certain way. However, it is still naive to think that they will act differently than the past 15-20 times you've started a thread on a similar topic. That's just an unreasonable assumption.
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:If it riles people up then they can avoid my topics or fix whatever deficiency they posess, not my fault how others act. This topic was about a shitty cop. If others get so mad about this then thats their fault dont blame me.
I'm actually not. I'm just saying it would be unrealistic for you to believe this topic would progress differently than any other. If you are looking for an intelligent discussion on the topic of cops doing dishonorable things, then don't respond to the people who try to take it off topic by calling you a cop hater (or the more obvious trolls like Art Modell even), and just talk to the people who are discussing it. Also, if someone agrees with you, don't try to pick a fight with them (see
this post).
Ender Wiggin;801647 wrote:Seriosuly, if you are going to cry and get mad over spelling errors then be my guest. Thats what trolls do.
Why on earth would spelling errors make someone angry or make them cry? They don't affect my emotion, but everything about how someone communicates can tell you something about them, meaning they are not irrelevant if the topic of intelligence is brought up.
