Looks like you already decided, but you have to go to Nashville sometime. I'm not much of a country fan, but you don't have to be to have a blast. The drive down from Cincy is extremely easy too and the city is pretty cheap as long as you get a hotel not right downtown.

Are you asking me out on a date? I'm flattered. :)

We stay at the Best Wesern-Downtown Convention Center. Only $117 a night w/ my Gov't discount, and only about a 1/2mi. walk from all the action. I would love to stay at the Hilton right downtown, but don't have that kind of loot right now...lol.

You could come to Toledo and party at my house.
Here's your room:

There is also cameras in the bedroom; don't worry, it is for your security.

Complimentary breakfast:

Let's just hope he doesn't speak the way he types, that'll make for awkward conversation me thinks.

My family has a place there, grew up going there every summer. Now that the wife and I are living in NY we plan on making the trip down a twice a month or so during the summer months for a little weekend getaway.

If you don't want to burn the gas driving, look into http://megabus.com/

We are planning to go watch a Pirates game for $2.00 each way from Akron to Pitt, costs way more for gas and parking!

You should try to get tickets to Next Restaurant for when you're here, since it's for your anniversary and all. It's pricey, but it's Grant Achatz. Same-day tickets can be had if you're quick on the trigger here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Next-Restaurant/114693845229862?sk=wall. I can't wait to go.

We'll be there July 24-30, I think. Let me know if you'll be around during that time. I'll buy you a slice of Mack & Manco's.

We are looking into it. It will be $164 round-trip for the two of us. With gas and paying to park, probably $30/day, we'll still save quite a bit with the megabus. Plus we don't have to worry about driving so we can just relax for the 6 hour trip.

I wasn't able to get much info from the site in regards to price. How much are the tickets?

Also, it says it includes drinks. Does that mean I can drink a shit ton of beer at no additional cost?

It's (I think) $100 per person, plus wine pairing - I think the mid-tier wine pairing is $40 for the seven courses. Definitely a "fancy" dinner but it's from the best chef in the country, so it's probably worth it.
