What's wrong with Rolen? Missing two games in a row. Shoulder?
He has strep throat.

Not surprising, that's why I said Volquez, Chapman, Willis, and Francisco will be what they consider help. The one downside to Walt is he is a veteran player's guy, he's never had a loaded system like this.SportsAndLady;792398 wrote:@johnfayman

Baker says the #Reds haven't considered promoting Triple-A players to get out of funk.
This annoys me. We don't have that all-star Scotty, we don't have that No. 1 run producer Gomes. So you need to go down to our very talented AAA team and try and replace that production from last year, because the guys are not producing like they were last year, and we can't just continue to waste these star players we have (votto, bruce. etc.).wrote:“We haven’t had our starting rotation the whole year,” he said. “That’s where it starts. No Cueto, no Homer, then no Homer again. No Volquez. No Chapman,” he said. “Everybody else might be surprised. That’s why you try to get as much over .500 as you can. We’re four less wins than we had last year. Considering we haven’t had Scotty. Last year this time, Scotty was vying for the All-Star Team. Jonny Gomes was almost our No. 1 run producer outside of Joey (Votto).”
