I'd like stats though.

Make the rule like this:
The clock does not start until team B touches (or possesses) the ball.

I would assume that this would be by either fielding the scrimmage kick, blocking/recovering the scrimmage kick or deflecting/intercepting the pass.

Yeah, that's what I suggested on the kicks. Rarely is the defense going to tip the ball and even so, starting the clock at that point wouldn't matter much. I think it's more important that the offense cannot run the clock down.

Doesn't really matter. It' a dumb idea and won't go far. It was an interesting thought though.

Ehh, I donno. it seems like Rutgers does well when everyone doubts them. Remember in 06 when they finished the season with 2 losses? NO ONE thought that was possible. Then the years after that when everyone thought they'd be a BE power, they sorta struggled, at least on a national basis. But this year they return 10 of 11 starters on offense, and a few key defensive players...I think they'll surprise people this year.

Also, the BE is nothing special, all it takes is a decent team (cough cough UCONN last year) to get a favorable schedule and BAM, you have your BE champion.

He must not have a kicker who can put it in the end zone.

If it's not broke don't fix it.

I think tackling should be outlawed. I know Rich Rodriguez was against it.
